    of the government pass any law restricting Imus right to say what he said. Isn't that what freedom of speech about. Imus' getting fired was a market correction, period. Nobody passed any law abridging his right to free speech. What did happen is that a segment of the listening public showed their displeasure at what he said. And the sponsors decided to pull their advertising from his show. Since this made his show unprofitable MSNBC and CBS decided to cancel his show. Where does the abridge his right to free speech?

    Just as Imus was free to make the statement the public was just as free to note their objections. And the sponsors were just as free to retract their financial support for his show.
