    But it didn't stop there.

    Before Prop 13 2/3s of property tax was paid by land holding corporations and now less than 1/3 is. Individual homeowners who die and sell homes now pay that 2/3s.

    Corporations which have a longer lifespan don't sell to a new owner or, when they get bought, transfer their assets without selling them.

    If only it was really about your property tax on an individual home it would have been a great idea.
