      Weelzup and for your thoughts..  We are worried here since he is station in a "bad" area around Baghdad.  I can't offically tell anyone exactly where he is at since he can't tell me.  

      He and his wife have 3 kids. I worry how this is affecting them, since we are half way across the US from them.

        After my first post I received an update from my friend today, and it had some disturbing news in it:

        Things are getting worse out here.  Two of our Iraqi battalions have gone south to help with security OPS in Baghdad.  The higher ups are also wanting to pull more Iraqi troops from our AO to go south.  I know that insurgents see this and are now moving into our area of operation because of the lowerd security.  Thing are going to get worse in the next month or so...

        Yeah, this surge is sounding better and better every day George.
