      Carter was not personally involved with the Clinton peace efforts. In particular, he was not personally involved with the Clinton Peace Parameters. Carter's book does not cite any sources to substantiate his treatment of the Clinton Peace Parameters. Moreover, Yossi Beilin, an Israeli dove who Carter has praised, agrees with Ben-Ami, Ross, and Clinton on the point in question.
