  •  It sure seems to me (0+ / 0-)

that you're saying that the extremists are the same on both sides.  You can easily correct this by saying: "Obviously, advocating a swap of territories is a bit less murderous than a suicide bombing."  Or some words of your own choosing.

    •  The point is that (0+ / 0-)

extremists seek the elimination of the other from their territory.

In that way, they are similar.

On whatever side, extremists stand in the way of peace.  They do not acknowledge the other has a right to exist.

      •  So you refuse to say (0+ / 0-)

that suicide bombers are worse than Lieberman.  I wish I could say that surprises me, but, alas, it doesn't.  And, in addition, Lieberman is advocating giving the Palestinians more land than they are actually asking for.  Certainly his reasons are racist, but how is that "eliminating" the other side, when the suicide bombers are actually "eliminating" the other side.

        •  Yeah, I think Lieberman (0+ / 0-)

is basically genocidal, and I made that clear in the diary.

I think the suicide bombers are different from Lieberman, and they create a unique kind of horror.

Still, expelling tens or hundreds of thousands of people from their homes is pretty disgusting, wouldn't you agree?  I have no doubt that given the power, Lieberman would be more than willing to do that.
