    I'm hoping to skip around from the pre-Socratics to now.  This series is really a diversion for me, but fun to do.

      Because for some reason tips were not available higher up.

      "Framing" may just be part of rhetoric updated. Kind of sounds like choosing the point of stasis. Hard to prevail on ground your opponent has chosen, but I assume you have more to say beyond the choice of ground.

      In my slight study of classical philosophy, I thought I began to notice a certain repetition. Nothing new under the sun etc. But the lack of something new does not mean that important aspects of the old have not been forgotten.

      I look forward to the rest of your series.

      Much rather be writing the comp theory paper, but it will have to wait till Ramus is once more dead and buried.
