    of making the point. There is the kind of courage we have when there is lots of company, but not many will take a lonely stand based on principle --other than the principle of playing it safe in order to "fight" another day. Funny how "another day" never really presents itself, even when people's lives are at stake.

      Anyone willing to stand up in the face of overwhelming opposition is a rarity. Always has been. That's why the world isn't full of people like Mahatma Gandhi, Adlai Stevenson, and Edward R Murrow.
      Makes us treasure their presence all the more.
