    I have changed all my incandescents to CFLs, but am wondering what I'll do to dispose of them when they eventually go bad.

    (and yes, to the concern troll on Faux News, they have impacted the electicity bill.  I haven't reached the break even point yet, but I will soon.)

    January 20. 2009 cannot come soon enough.

      your local garbage company will take them back for recycling.

      Just don't dump them in the trash.  

      I'm working on changing all of our household lights to compact fluorescents.
      It's the only decent thing to do.
