Hilary Rosen and Amy Weiss were lawsuit mongers at the RIAA. Then there's Bill Clinton's lowest moment -- supporting DMCA.

Chris Dodd is our man to stop the Huckabee stampede!!

Jack Valenti was a close aide for LBJ (he is even in the background of that famous photo of Johnson being sworn in after JFK's assassination) and yet he fought for years to stifle new technology as head of the MPAA. He testified before Congress in the early '80s arguing for making the "record" feature on VCR's illegal, comparing the VCR's potential effect on Hollywood to the Boston Strangler's terror of young women.

There's also his successor, Dan Glickman. Glickman was a Democratic Congressman from Kansas until he got voted out in the 1994 GOP sweep. Afterward he was appointed Agricultural Secretary by Clinton (and if you think he isn't just a dick for the MPAA, he also helped stifle organic "The Omnivore's Dilemma" to get an idea of what the USDA was doing during the mid-late '90s). While Glickman hasn't led the MPAA to start suing little girls and dead people like the RIAA, he has been at the forefront of supporting DRM on DVDs, HD-DVDs and Blu-Rays.
