    one guest Sherman Katz  from the Carnegie Endowment for Int. Peace on last night, who said the deal was a win-win. Not sure who this group is.

    This doesn't match with what you are saying. Perhaps their corporate sponsors had a say in this.

      There was a big press conference on Thursday designed to create a certain type of message around the trade pact.  The Democrats won labor and environmental standards, but corporate America is happy as well.  You can see the reporting coming out with this messaging.

      Nowhere in the program did they talk about the fact that all their knowledge is based on speculation and that the actual deal is secret.

      They also didn't mention the fact that some Democrats are opposed to it and progressives were excluded from the process.  

      The easiest way to prove their manipulation is to see how many times Judy Woodruff repeated the suggestion that the deal was reached by "Democrats in Congress", before using the less dishonest term "Democratic Leadership".
