    In some of the east bloc (I lived there I know) where people don't use their cars a lot. Sometimes a person will buy an actual physical barrel of fuel from the cash only sources of the black market (at nearly half the price)and use that for a month or so of getting around.

    who's making the profit in that transaction? I'm guessing its not largely Exxon or Chevron.

    High prices in the order of 10+ $/gal in America will spur all kinds of illegal tradings of gasoline, people can be sure of that.

    I for one am already laughing at the people paying close to a 100 bucks to fill up their idiotically over-sized vehicles. Maybe they'll be able to sell them as scrap to China.

    Anti-War is not a protest, it's common sense.
