  •  Just another Rep wedge (none)
The Repubs will use this the way thyey have used redistricting.  Be ruthless to create an advantage for themsleves, while the Dems aren't looking.  TX and other Red satates will not do it but they will get it on the ballot in CA, MI, IL etc.  The key is to emphasize that it has to be done in many Red/Blue states or nowhere.

The LA-style primary now on the November ballot in CA has a slim majority now with may don't know/undecideds.  Personally I think it is a good idea.  I would trade a few liberal Dems for fewer wingnut Reps.  I think it gives us a better chance of enacting tax reform, for instance, to have more centrists.

Since we do have a chance in CO for Kerry, and an outside chance to pick up as many as 4 House seats and the Senator, is it better to leave CO under the Rep radar?

If you're going in the wrong direction and you stay the course, where, exactly, do you wind up?
