  •  A track record for sensationalism? (18+ / 0-)

To the contrary, Moore's films have always been right on the mark. Roger and Me showed what was happening to the auto industry because of globalization and greed. Look at Detriot now. F911 showed what happens when a corrupt administration goes to war for fictitious reasons. Look at Iraq now.

Fact is, the truth about the insurance and healthcare industies is sensational. It just never gets told in the mainstream as clearly as Moore tells it in his films.

Moore carries a powerful populist message - he is no wacko conspiracy theorist as the rightwing elite would have people think. if average republicans could get past the hype and keep their minds open and actually listen to Moore's messages I bet they'd agree. I've seen it happen - like republicans in Michigan (I use to live there) who loved Roger and Me for telling THEIR story. and I went with a republican friend to see F911 and he was dumbfound! he didn't say much but his support for the war stopped right then and there.

even with Bowling for Columbine, Moore didn't blame guns or talk about taking people's guns - he just asked Americans to step back and take a good long look at our culture and get a fucking clue.

and finally, ALL americans will be able to relate to SiCKO. even the republicans.
