    It just seemed that you were avoiding me and/or reccing around me. However, I've been a touch sensitive lately which has absolutely nothing to do with you. You've always been one I've enjoyed on dKos and I didn't want to lose that, so I thought I'd try to address it and hope it was all just my imaginings. Glad to find that it is.

    I agree with the two sides. My daughter's been in Mandarin immersion for 9 years now so while I don't know as much as you I'm sure, I have soaked up quite a bit and was surprised to learn that many of the native speakers are stripped of Chinese culture themselves such as rituals and traditions of the New Year. That was an unfortunate side effect of Mao. I had put together a multi-page hand out on holidays for the students and parents and the teachers were thrilled.
