this guy and that doesn't tip us off that she's just as much a jackass as he is?

    •  Just surprised (0+ / 0-)

I'd never heard of him 'til yesterday and didn't know anything about him 'til this. Just surprised if it's true that she approves.

it that way snud...wasn't being rude or snarky to you...sorry if it sounded like that.

everyone around here laughed when i said nancy was not going to be a champion for us and she sure as hell lived up to that prediction.

find anything on Pelosi/Holsinger.  Would either of you please give me a link.  I just find it hard to believe that the Speaker (coming from where she does) would approve of this guy.  Perhaps she spoke in typical politicalese - but I'd like to hear it or read a transcript.  Caveat:  sometimes my search skills are lacking - I'll keep trying but would appreciate hearing from either of you.

I'm sure it would've been picked up by someone, even just Page A7 filler in the WaPo...

I'll keep at it. I see he is interested in childhood obesity - Speaker Pelosi may have been adressing that.

Also - isn't he involved in the Walter Reed thing?  I can't keep track of their corruption and incompetence - their lack of shame - their lack of love for the States - their shallow intelligence -
              how much longer I wonder.

        •  No, it wasn't that! (0+ / 0-)

My father had a stroke last week, so I've been going back and forth to the hospital pretty much constantly because I'm the only one left to take care of him. I just get little snippets of news while I'm in my car. NPR brought up the story about the new Surgeon General appointee and I could've sworn the reporter mentioned that Pelosi liked the guy... But, like I said, my mind's really been elsewhere! Anyhoo, no sweat labwitchy - I didn't take it that way at all! ;-)
