    what are you talking about?

in Camus' book the dude finds out his mother died, doesn't really care too much about it, goes to a movie, a comedy, goes about his daily life, one thing leads to another and he kills a man.

He goes on trial and he's convicted not so much on the killing as for how he doesn't fit in society. That going to the movie bit really turns the jury off.

So this rich girl is being convicted in the public eye not for her DUI while on probation but for her brattiness (which isn't actually a crime).

Hope that made a little more sense.

      •  Oy. You're comparing Meursault to PH?! (1+ / 0-)

          •  I still fail to see PH as Meursault. (0+ / 0-)

            It's, I can't, I don't know how, I can't imagine how PH is in anyway equivocal to Meursault.  I really can't.

As for the Blackwater case, there is simply no evidence that BW filed a lawsuit against its employees' families.  There are only two websites that cite only one source: the defense attorneys.  I think any reputable attorney would link to the lawsuit in question.  The fact that they didn't, well, that speaks volumes for them.  I won't be contributing. Either their is a BW lawsuit, or there is not.  It's up to author to provide evidence of same.

That's world's apart from linking the real-life plight of PH to the FICTIONAL literary tool that is Meursault.
