    #3  neither

but there is one thing ron paul has got going for him that hillary doesnt....

Ron Paul isnt part of the DYNASTY we seem to be happy to hand our once strong and independent representative Democracy to.

I dont want Ron Paul to be President BUT i do appreciate his staunch defense of our constitutional Democracy.....something that not many of our current crop of candidates seems to do...defend the constitution <shrug>

If we continue to buy into the propoganda that the DYNASTIES we have given more and more power to are the only people who can run America then all is lost and we have failed our founders and we have lived up to the WORST scenario Ben Franklin warned of....when asked what type of government the founders gave the country he said   A Republic IF you can keep it....we dont seem to care enough to keep it any more....and electing Hillary, a proud member of the now 'permanant' ruling class bares that out <shrug>

    •  The problem with the constitution... (0+ / 0-)

is that it was written by slave-owning white males that decreed that African Americans were 3/5 of a person.

I don't even respect RP's war against the war in Iraq because it was for isolationist reasons.

At least Hillary had good intentions of voting in favor of the war because she believed it was a progressive war (as in Kosovo).

If that's truly what she believed, she deserves to be barred from the nomination on grounds of asininity at the very least.

      •  The problem with you... (0+ / 0-)

The problem with people who think there is a problem with the constitution, is that they should be booted right the hell out of the USA... don't let the door hit you in the ass...

        LOL

You surely have had your good brainwashing in the public schools....if Hillary were president we'd all be slaves to her communism

      •  A progressive war? (0+ / 0-)

What sort of screwed up logic is that?

War is okay if it's progressive?  Man...talk about a moron!!!

And your attack on the constitution.  One of the single most important documents in the history of man in limiting what a government can do to its citizens, and you have to boil it down to who it was written by.  I'm sure that the communist manifesto is more to your liking.  It was written by someone much more 'progressive'.

the trap of the false dichotomy offered up by our diarist. We have a few more choices than those two, methinks.

Jack, Bobby and Ted Kennedy. Franklin Roosevelt. John Quincy Adams.

It's not a new innovation in American politics.

And Hillary Clinton is hardly part of the "ruling class." Only in a meritocracy could she and her husband achieve as much as they have.
