are going, with approval rating lower than Mr. 28% himself, anything is possible.

likely reflects not just dissatisfaction with the Democratic leadership BUT also reflects public anger at WASHINGTON DC - and politics as usual. It's not just directed at the Dems, in my opinion.

But, the GOP wants us to think that the Dems have sunk as low as the Rethugs. It helps their own resurrection.

it probably is.  I'm not a monoculturist.  If Democratic Leadership is satisfied with maintaining status quo, they earn the reputation they deserve.

on who is responsible for the stalemate. Particularly in the Senate, where everything gets slowed down, the GOP at practically even power, can put up many roadblocks.

They know it - and they're hoping the Dems get blamed for their obstructionist tactics.

Remember? That's what they called the Dems every time they used the filibuster tool. Now, they are using it all the time to protect their failed president and prolong a war - yet the Dems can't accomplish anything - that's what they want the general public to think

Democratic Leadership gave 28 a blank check on Iraq recently.  I voted Democrats in office to get us the fuck out of Iraq, not to give that rat bastard exactly what he wanted.

Furthermore, Rangel is poised to give bush yet another gift in the Fast-Track Free Trade agreement, which Sirota has diaried about extensively on this blog.

I believe in holding Congress accountable - no matter what party they claim to belong to.

and, both Dems and GOP are responsible for the inaction. The Dems are doing more to stop the war than the GOP ever would have.
