    I have been a proponent of such a boycott for several years. The White House correspondents have more power as a group (if they would just recognize it) than their individual outlets, which are nothing but parrots. The notable exceptions are Helen Thomas and McClatchy newspapers.

    I say, put the pressure on the White House correspondents to stage a walkout and publish the reasons why. While newspapers are loathe to become actors in their reporting, this is an egregious offense against the notion of "press briefings." These are nothing but propaganda. The press and all of the media have an obligation to shine the full light of day on this steaming pile of bullshit.

    I have spent the major portion of my adult life in newspapering. I have never seen such lickspittles in my professional life. If I were an editor supervising any of them, I would boycott the entire dog and pony show and tell the reporter to go investigate something of value to the decision-makers: We the People.
