  •  and like the Taliban (25+ / 0-)

who you see in the photos are men.

Men who can impregnate and men who can kill and men who
desire to control what goes on in women's bodies.

I waded through their website and they really believe that they are doing the will of God.

It is certain that we should use the means necessary to defend the innocent, and since the unborn are innocent, it is equally certain that we should use the means necessary to defend them.

    Taliban in our midst.

those men are supported by women who keep their houses and raise their children and slake their lusts.

Or do you assume THEIR women are Stepfordised slaves?

don't always believe what you think...

        I do assume that.

There are certainly women who 'choose' that kind of lifestyle, but honestly, how much choice do you think there is when you've been highly conditioned to believe that is your proper role in life?

I could be cynical and say freedom is an illusion....

The solidly politically pro-life women I know were raised in faith traditions that clearly state women have no individual moral authority.  These women tend to believe that they have a spiritual imperative to obey their husbands and religious authorities.

Of course, these are the same pro-life women who tell me, quietly and privately, that they're not sure all abortion should be illegal.  That's how the entire issue of abortion used to be-- quiet, private matters among women.  I'm kinda fond of modern health care techniques to prevent infection and hemorrhage, though, so I'll keep quietly discussing their perspectives with these women in hopes that they'll bring their doubts to the ballot box someday.

Then being born a female instead of male is a fairly strong sign. Women do what women should do ... as do men. :-/

I've been asked "Do you really hate being a woman so much?" when I was on a rant about sexist laws enforcing sexist Nature.
