OK, I explain it to you sloooowly.

The House impeaches, the formal accusation of specific crimes. If the House votes to impeach, then the Senate tries the case and votes whether to convict, and thereby, to remove.

So you're already giving the scaredy cat whine from months ago before the actual impeachment process was explained umpteen times on this website alone each month.

Then, and this might be too much for you to get all at once, there's the power of impeaching without even successful conviction. Impeachment is like indictment. It stops the conspiracy, by forcing it into the light of formal public scrutiny. We indict criminals on the evidence, not because there's 100% chance of conviction. Presidents deserve at least that due process, even if we already know they're guilty. But that process forces the veil of secrecy, anonymity and unaccountability away from protecting their conspiracy network.

So try to find out about real political realities, like the actual process and effects of impeachment, before screeching about "political reality". You might find out the education calms you down from your instinctive fear. And it should help you understand how people think it's a political reality. Possibly by bringing you into a reality you seem to have missed.
