  •  Yeah, I was trying to remember the name of that (0+ / 0-)

out-of-state interest group, Club for Growth.  You're probably right that they will back him again.  Isn't Dean showing up soon[is that what you mean by D-trip?]?
Regardless, Sali will still have to defend that pathetic voting record of his.  How embarassing was it when he introduced a bill to repeal the law of gravity?  He made me even more angry when he wrote that editorial defending his vote against raising the minimum wage.  I've never met anyone who actually likes him and I think the only reason he won originally was b/c of the "When in doubt, vote R" thing in Idaho.  Normally, being an incumbent is an advantage, but it would not seem so in Sali's case.

Still, I agree.  A little DSCC attention would go a long way.

    •  D-trip=Democratic Congressional Campaign Committe (2+ / 0-)

Yes, Dean is coming to Pocatello soon, but by the D-trip, I meant our congressional campaign committee. Rahm Emanuel's baby. They took note of Larry Grant way late last fall, but it was too little, too late, considering the money Sali was raking in from the CFG and the GOP campaign committee.

The DSCC is the Democratic Senate Campaign Committee (Charles Schumer is chair), so let's hope they take note of Larry L. Actually, we do seem to be on their radar, but everyone's basically just waiting to see what Craig is gonna do. Everyone but LaRocco himself, who's been out working hard, as you know.

We need to remind our fellow Idahoans of that great advice:

To move forward, put it in D
To move backward, put it in R

which I ripped off from someone's Kos sig line!
