They both followed later looking like wimps.

    This blog is for discourse,
    not insults.

    How profound.

I guess it makes sense to you that even though Edwards was running for president 3 years ago, and hasn't been pre-occupied by Senatorial obligations since, that sitting Senators should engage in some sort of race to get their plans published before him, in a silly game of oneupmanship. But really, that's just a meaningless argument meant to do nothing but bolster the gratuitous and baseless insult you decided to throw at his opponents.

And, your implication that my tone is neoconian, because I find your comments inane, and your suggestion that Obama is a passing phenom, are just more meaningless, baseless insults. You've only represented my comment with your reply.

to people who want to share in discussion and learn from this blog. There are a lot of patient, non-judgmental people on DKos who use their knowledge to help those of us just beginning to get involved in politics and blogging. You're obviously not one of those. My mistake.

The passing phenom "suggestion" is yours, not mine. It's from one of your diairies. Feb 25- The one where one of those patient, non-judgmental people helped you with your use of tags.

Thanks so much for taking the time to read my diary. I am quite insecure about writing them. The blog can be intimidating. Feb. wow, I even feel guilty for not doing more diaries. I apologize. I had no mal intent or insult by saying the argument was stupid. I meant it wasn't worth arguing about.
Neo con references make the hair on my neck stand up, and I lashed out.
Don't be a stranger. I'll look for you in the future.

I think both Obama and Al Gore (outside of election campaigns) have the energy, insight, morals, and charisma to ignite peoples awareness and reason, to detach their attention from corporate induced desire, and manufactured consent.  I think it's crucial for the 'masses' to be awakened to what's happening to the corporatization of our government. I personally never thought Obama was a passing phenomenom but wrote that diary in response to the endless criticism of him, as such, at the time.

Thanks again for setting me straight soprano.

and I'm a little ashamed at toeing the media line about Edwards rolling out his stuff before HRC and Obama. You're right- it was simple and stupid. I joined this blog to get away from the talking points, and I go right back to them if I'm not really thinking.

The neocon thing was meant to break the ice (while insulting my brother-in-law), but it definitely didn't look that way when I went back and read it. I apologize.

I think I was confused about the passing phenom thing because some of the diaries here are satirical. Still getting acclimated. I'm looking forward to more of your diaries and posts. I posted mindlessly about Obama- thanks for not letting me get away with it.

          Cheers!
