do not have strictly physical definitions.

The victims of caging were done an injury when their Constitutional right to vote was illegally taken from them. They were intimidated when they received registered letters from the republican party informing them that they had 60 days to respond to said letter, or their right to vote would be challenged, or taken from them.

You don't have to have a big burly guy on your doorstep holding a bat and talking like Nicky Santoro... Words, letters, or stealing someone's legal right to vote can be just as injurious, just as threatening, and just as intimidating.

"It is through disobedience that progress has been made, through disobedience and through rebellion." Oscar Wilde, 1891

    •  Thank you both (0+ / 0-)

For these reassuring answers. Now I can go back to worrying full time that these criminals will all walk, after a blanket pardon by the Repub in Chief, ready to regroup and resume their dirty deeds, in another place and another time  -- probably in an even numbered year.
