    Sure it's their right to distort the news.   It's called freedom of the press.  

    But they can't libel or defame anyone.   Generally political figures can't sue for libel.   But they can say anything they want.  

    The real issue of course is that they advertise themselves as fair and balanced.  Which is bunk.  So I agree with someone here who said that all of Fox's press credentials at the Democratic Convention and at other events should say on them OPINION JOURNALIST.  Or some such thing.  

    There was a guest on Olbermann last night that suggested that the problem is that the other news outlets treat them as legitimate.   That needs to be stopped.   So the drumbeat must continue that labels them as opinion and not news.
