I really have  had enough. The pattern here seems to be to give them another chance. Last time I said this is the last time they fool me. No more!!

I've decided to try and stick it out to get rid of bad Dems and elect progressives.  But I am tired of being asked to eat shit sandwiches by our Dem "leaders."

          Peace.

          I'm pissed as hell.

However, I'm going to start voting against Dem incumbents in favor of the Dem challengers.  If everyone does likewise, then maybe it will sink in that there are consequences for voting for crap like this.

Our best bet is to get to the point where Dems will be scared shitless to vote against the wishes of the people.  Unfortunately, Dem incumbents are more beholden to their corporate interests than the people they are supposed to serve.

        •  So you prefer the Republicans? (1+ / 0-)

99.999% of the time, in any given election, there are only two canidates with a realistic chance of winning, and they are the Republican canidate and the Democratic canidate.  And, 99.999% of the time, the Democratic canidate is the better of the two.

Even this vote proves it.  Out of the 49 (actual) Democrats in the Senate, 27 (a majority) voted the correct way.  Out of the 49 Republicans in the Senate, zero voted the correct way.

Voting for a third party canidate, or not voting at all, means you think 27 equals 0, and that you don't really care one way or the other.

There is a place to let your feelings be known, and that is during the primary election.  Support challengers to Democrats who sometimes fold on important issues-but then support the Democrat in the general.

Lets give them a pass now. Lets elect them and lets tell them how much we enjoy getting screwed by them. 4 years from now we will be in the same place. And 8 years from now we will still  be sored from getting screwed. Was it Kerry that said that when you confront a failed policy you should jump out of the boat? Shit, this is just like Irak. We keep trying the samething over and over.

    •  I totally agree...I'm done (0+ / 0-)

The Democrats are utterly useless. There is NO hope in them. Zero. More subtle and prettier though it may be, it's still eerily similar to the last days of the Weimar Republic. My family and I are outta here.
