  •  Well that makes one of us, Kit (0+ / 0-)

"I can sleep a little safer tonight," Senator Christopher S. Bond, the Missouri Republican who co-sponsored the measure, declared after the Senate vote.

I have said about the Republicans in the House and Senate, President Bush, and the lunatic crowd of Right Wing media drones who continually succumb to, promote, and defend this camaign of fear that it is obviously the only thread the Republican party has to hang on to at this point:

If these liars actually believed the consequences of the fear they sell with their propaganda, they would have permanent residences at NORAD and would never been seen in public.

Since I have noticed that is not the case, it should be clear that even they know their fear campaign is illegitmate manipulation of the populace for political gain.

We can't be both 'defeating them over there' and scared shitless of them over here at the same time, and until we get whatever percentage of the population that still surrenders to this propaganda to wake up and see they're being used, we are all going to continue to suffer.

The passage of this bill is the single greatest statement that the terrorists are winning.

    Way to go, congress.

George Orwell is banging on his coffin lid and screaming, "1984 was a cautionary tale, you dolts, not a motivational speech!"
