      for her book, which really isn't very good and the publisher has

        Anyway, the publisher works with you, helps you polish anything that needs polishing. I would also think just reading what has been here on KOS, every Library in this country should buy at least one copy. I have a childhood friend who was born intersexed and all the problems they  had and to some extent still have. The only good thing was they were born in a small town hospital not so eager to try gender reassignment. He was raised female, wasn't the right choice, long story short took 20 years to become outside what was inside. I think of all those kids, not just intersexed and how much better their lives would be if there was a voice out there speaking about their unique issues. Never underestimate the good it can do.

      The on-demand press process has gotten incredibly cheap.  That said, it's probable you have other outlets.

      I'm pretty sure that at least a few of the folks you used to protest with would be able to give you a name or two in midtown who might be willing to pick up a book and at the very least give it consideration, but you no doubt already know this :}
