  •  Interesting thought... (13+ / 0-)

No matter what seems to come out of investigations, or what is said we don't see any change.  No real oversight, no one being held responsible.  Bush just keeps on doing whateve he wants, and when things start to get choppy he says it's all just political theater.

Makes it seem like everyone in DC has the script and knows how it's going to end already and that they're bored with the plot.  Or worse---- a sporting event that's rigged and they know it but we're all still watching thinking our team might win.

What are we missing...It's probablhy something in plain sight...

    •  Missing? Civil rights, real power, any control. (4+ / 0-)

What are we going to do about this is my only question. Talk that prolongs our inaction is anathema to me. I for one, am eternally grateful to our Revolutionary War forbears for stopping the talk and starting their resistance. Their courage is the principal reason we've gotten as far as we have. IMO, we've been coasting--at least in some crucial ways--ever since, on their shoulders.

"That which you will not resist and mobilize to stop, you will learn--or be forced--to accept." Impeachment for treason is an American value.

    •  My feeling exactly. NOTHING has come out of (6+ / 0-)

      a plethora of investigations...
      nothing. Nothing. NOTHING.

And investigations promised - SYBIL EDMONDS - don't happen.

He knows about inherent contempt. But he does not want to do ...why??

      Why FISA?  Why?
