I'd love it if Colorado switched. A nice square of blue is just what the Midwest needs.

A thought: Why is it a "beer bottle" when it's empty and a "bottle of beer" when it's full?

Don't tell a native Coloradan that Colorado is in the "Midwest".  Ya might not make it to the bottom of the ski slope in one piece. ;-p

And she calls herself a Midwesterner.  But then, she's crazy.

I'm from western Pennsylvania, not five miles from the Ohio border.  I consider myself a Midwesterner, and a friend and Illinois native agrees with me (though I did piss off a Minnesotan once by making that claim.)  Hell, it's pop to me, not soda.  I've been living on the East Coast for over ten years now and I still can't get used to that.

But I agree that Colorado isn't the Midwest.  Culturally, even the western Plains states seem different from eastern Iowa, Wisconsin, et al.  But I think I'm getting us off topic here...

A conservative is just a liberal who hasn't needed a second chance yet.
