I love it! We clearly were engaged in an intensely interesting conversation -- I recall it being particularly riveting, covering a full range of topics.

I loved that patio.  There's no way the planners could have thought of it; it was one of those truly serendipitous things -- they're always the most satisfying.

Why is it Bruce Fein gets it and Democrats don't?

We yellow dog Democrats should recognize that we are called that because we have been pissed on by our party.

Maybe we should vote for Kuchich, Gore, Ron Paul or none of the above until it sinks in that the result of being pissed on is that we are now really really pissed off.

I'm just appaled by the stances being taken by our leading contenders for President and for that matter the House and Senate.

Initially that list of contenders for President seemed a good one, but then as we begin to observe those being short listed for us in the media and the polling are limited to the most conservative, you have to wonder what is really going on here.

Recent gaffs by Hillary, Obama, and Richardson show their thinking to be anything but enlightened.

Given an incompetent administration that has ignored solutions to correcting our course in a disastrous war, Peak Oil, Global Warming, a Tanking Economy, destroyed our status, reputation, and credibility overseas and here at home, why aren't the mainstream candidates talking about impeachment?

By the time you get down to the details of the corruption, the kidnapping, torture, murder, holding with out rendition, warrantless wiretaping, data mining and destruction of Constitutional Liberties, not to mention the rape of the environment and drilling for oil in national parks, how is it we let them get away with talking about anything else besides impeachment?

Shouldn't we just make it clear that if they are going to enable a tyranny then they don't represent us and there is no point in keeping them in office?

It's all become so routine; we're expected to fall in line behind one of the top three candidates annointed by the MSM, and to write off the others.  I've generally supported Edwards because of his position on issues that matter to me, but I was really blown away by Kucinich during the debate earlier this week (I didn't see the Thursday night debate).  He is saying a lot of the right stuff, and he is fearless and good humoured; he wants single payer health care and the troops out now.  The pundits have written him off as inconsequential, apparently based on his small stature and "radical" ideas.  I do not discount him though.  The sad thing is that in spite of having exactly what it takes and what we need, too many people will buy into the ordering of the candidates as presented by the press.
