The MSM appears to have never heard or Article V.

Either that or they want to keep as much of the country as possible ignorant about it.

We need a lot more like you.

I appear to have never heard of Article V, because I have no idea what you're talking about.  Do you have a link that summarizes the issue, just to get me up to speed?

Article V of the Constitution of the United States of America

Basically there have been quite a few times that we have had enough state legislatures petitioning for convention, yet congress has never convened a convention to hear the states' plea. They are supposed to, but for whatever reason it gets blown off and the traditional corporate media never mentions it and no one presses so it is just one of many things where the Constitution is ignored.

        •  So is the controversy over it, (1+ / 0-)

whatever the controversy amounts to, simply a matter of principle?  I have a suspicion that there is some specific goal in mind, and that this is not just a bunch of people pushing for another convention.

I don't mean to minimize the significance of the Constitutional Convention, but in my experience, very few people advocate for following the law simply for the sake of following the law.  Which is why I wonder if there is some more specific motive behind it.
