how this differs from what Matt Stoller is promoting with his "Bush Dog" campaign, now on the Rec List, and why we should not expect some counterpart of Markos to be saying "Fantastic!" if and when that effort picks up steam.

I think there's a case to be made that the difference is greater than "we're not running ads (yet)," but I'd definitely like to see the case made.  Otherwise, the cognitive dissonance is going to injure someone.

I manage, but except where indicated do not speak for,

All Mat Stoller and others want to do is move the Bush Dogs back towards where the mainstream American public is--and get them to do what the people want them to do.

The purpose of these ads seem to be to push the GOPers closer to Bush and away from the mainstream.

No cognitive dissonance when it has to do with exerting the will of the governed, as opposed to the will of Little Boots and his ilk.

Besides, let the right cheer when we eat our own--it sends a message to the American people about how out of touch with THEIR priorities the right truly is.
