I didn't make my message sufficiently clear.

I agree that it's important to reach people, especially swing voters, through video. That's why I've been publicizing The Real News so heavily. And they have a big presence (a channel of their own) on YouTube.

But what I was saying is that when I visit Daily Kos diaries, I like to read, not watch, unless there's something really important that can only be communicated through moving images. In the ten minutes that it takes me to watch a video, I can look over five diaries (yes, I'm a fast reader) and learn a lot more. This is the general point I was trying to make. It was not related to your series in particular. I can see how a series about video requires video, especially for your later diaries in the series, where you actually hook up a webcam and then presumably give guidance about how to speak on video. But I just want to raise a protest, however feeble, about people shifting content from text to video (when the video doesn't add anything except a face and a voice) for a Daily Kos audience, which should be trying to scan the news in the most efficient way possible. And I wanted to say that had I not known you before and just stumbled into your diary, I would have skipped watching the video altogether, just because my time is limited.
