    I'm very glad that some sense was granted to someone, somewhere in this line of events.

    As someone who works in the online industry, I'd just like to say that while the parallels to traditional media are obvious, the sole reliance on those parallels is does more to limit the full understanding of what the platform and its contributors is really all about.

    While all of those points are noted, what's lacking is that blogging is more the equivalent of 'over-the-fence' neighborly discourse, water cooler discussions, and timely reactions to the days and weeks events -- it gives immediacy to the message and opens the debate to everyone and limits no one except on grounds of poor behavior.

    In short, forums like this not only do what traditional media does, but they do what traditional media cannot. And that's important.

    Chaos. It's not just a theory.
