      I'd imagine they would, but it's too bad she'll likely do more to divide the district than teach Pelosi that the latter's continual talk-tough-but-obtain-poor-results politics aren't serving anyone well.

      I think she's the wrong candidate to challenge a Speaker who is not doing a terribly effective job.

        but even if she weren't already associated with the fringe, the media would ralph nader her in due time.  it's a shame the only people who seem to get promoted are the people who represent the privileged.  what to do...

          and while it may apply in the broader context of third-party or candidacies who take on established politicians, Ms. Sheehan has done quite enough on her own to position herself as an almost prototypical fringe candidate.  She needs no help at all so far as that is concerned.

          It's a shame, really, as she was very effective for a brief amount of time.
