The likes of D James Kennedy have been working with NeoCons, yes, but - after studying them in considerable depth - I would say they have their own, distinct agenda.

Also, Shadia Drury's "Leo Strauss and the American Right" is a must-read and lays Strauss bare for all to see.

Well, sure!  Kennedy and others of his religious likeness have their agenda, and the Neocons have their different agenda.  The Neocons are trying to use Kennedy, Dobson et al to conduct a hostile economic takeover of the U.S.  Kennedy and his type are trying to use the Neocons to establish a theocracy in the U.S.  If the religious/Neocon coalition defeats us, the "coalition of the authoritarians" may fall apart in a power struggle to see who gets to suck us dry.

What the issues and conditions might be that would fracture the coalition would be useful insight.

To take it one step further, Major Danby had a diary up the other day about irrational advocacy.  I took this to be something akin to culture jamming (which includes google bombing).

There may be an opportunity to "jam" Coral Ridge's web/media message to soldiers by using a neo-con "Global domination, perpetual war. Be there or be square.  Oh wait, you will be there." or, "If you like Iraq, you'll love the next war, and the next war, and the next war..."

In other words, connect the two agendas in the worst possible way for the people caught in the middle - our service men and women.

Just a thought.  Sorry to stray.

        It's full of stars...
