  •  Election Integrity - Media / Kos Blackout (7+ / 0-)

Last year I met with the editorial board of the San Francisco Chronicle and brought then copies of the TWO GAO reports indicting the shoddy election equipment in the U.S., plus NYU's Brennan Center report, along with a stack of equally credible documentation.

What was the response?  "Do you really think our readers are interested in this?"

Outrageous!  They can cultivate interest in any bat crap, but not the survival of our democracy!

Also, this blog set a much higher standard on discussions of election shenanigans after the 2004 than they do for any other topic.  There were threats of banning and many were banned.

In light of the overwhelming evidence now that we were indeed right ought to be reason enough now to have this blog write on the front page a formal apology for getting that one wrong.

And please don't lecture me about good manners and how great a host Kos is.  I think that is quite obvious, and if not I'm acknowledging it now, but to get stuck on that thread is to miss my point entirely.
