for government relations, or Alberto Gonzales, but honestly, don't blame the damn techs.  There are plenty of legitmate reasons why they could be ordered to do a wiretap (e.g. based upon a valid FISA or criminal case warrant).

It isn't their job to determine the authority of the government to get the phone company to cooperate with them.

I work in health care where law enforcement seeks records without warrants all the time.  I have also been subjected to extreme FBI abuse over dissent.  It has cost me over $470.00 of legal advice to find out what my rights are and those of the people I serve.  The people at AT&T have known about CALEA and FISA for years.  If someone wants to make sure they are not violating the law they get the help of an attorney.  It "IS THEIR JOB" to know what the hell they are doing.

I make no bones about it... I want people jailed FOR LIFE!!!!!
