But she said they were going to check out their bundlers from now on after the Hsu incident.  Maybe she should have waited to cash it until she'd checked out who the bundlers were.

doing at her 'intimate' fund-raiser?  I've never been invited to an 'intimate' fund-raiser in my life.  What does one need to do to get invited to one?

Then you have a whole different set of problems though.

My hubby and I won a pretty decent amount of money on a scratchy ticket last year and donated half of our ill-gotten gains to political campaigns and charities... Our mailbox has been constantly FILLED with invites to all sorts of high-priced fundraisers, from all over the state of Michigan ever since.

On one hand I find it kind of embarrassing, because if it weren't for that freak occurrence, we'd have never been able to afford to give the amount we did... and it's not likely that we'll ever be able to give that much again.

On the other hand I kind of enjoy it, because I like the idea of rich people getting hit up for huge sums of money all the time. It must annoy the hell out of them... and I like the thought of annoyed rich people. It comforts me. :-)

Candlelight, wine flowing copiously, chocolate baths. Oh, and the servers all wear Victoria's Secret.
I especially liked the quail's eggs in aspic with gold leaf gravy.
