possum and all the other Kossack candidates?

If you think you're too small to be effective, you've never been in the dark with a mosquito.

of candidates from here but I'm not sure about possum. I met many of them at YK2007 and have talked to others as we can. I'll actually g

Our intent is to present a common front so that people will see us as a group to be taken seriously. It's working but we still have a long way to go.

As much as we believe in public financing it doesn't exist so we have to live within the current system while we change it to allow people like me to run viable campaigns for federal office.

What other Kossacks can do is spread the word in comments, diaries and word of mouth when possible and never miss an opportunity for shameless fund raising.

The netroots is coming through for us as we break out into the traditional election political culture. We are holding on to our roots here as you can see by my continuing to participate as I did before.

The difference now is that I've got to make more and more people aware of what we're doing. As amazingly successful as the roll out series of diaries was in a community this size we still have people we need to reach.

We need to broaden our base. Our Firedoglake session and the Crooks and Liars posts were a fantastic boost.

We've also had a write up in LA City Beat and gotten coverage from Bruin Democrats out of UCLA.

I'll end this long comment with a link to my ActBlue page. Will you help us with a contribution. ALL contributions of any size are important and reflect positively on the community, the netroots and the campaign.

You don't get anywhere by standing on the sidelines waiting for somebody else to take action. - Lee Iacocca
