I dunno about that.  I'm a libertarian, however, as is well known; I'm deeply suspicious of all attempts to "improve the world" through political means.

Beyond that, I didn't mean to imply that Israelis should fear a nuclear attack from Iran.  I think it is a concern, but only a distant one.

The urge to save humanity is almost always a false face for the urge to rule it. ~ H.L. Mencken

...and I am some species of socialist, as probably one can tell. I want to limit the ability of the Ruling Class to rule, and I see means of doing so that are not political. I see no means of effective common action against horrors like land mines, mass extinction, fisheries collapse, ugly polyester suits, that are not political au fond.

Now, to our Iranian courses. Without any disingenuousness, I freely ack that are better informed than I about issues as touching on Israel. But, I do dabble in military history, and I am having a difficult time coming up with an historical analogue of an Iranian attack in Israel. It just seems preposterous.

To commemorate a past event, you kill and eat an animal. It's a ritual sacrifice. With pie. (Anya)
