    I suppose it's progress of some sort, that he's realized his ridiculous racial stereotypes were unfounded, and that, yes, restaurants frequented by black people look pretty similar to restaurants frequented by white people. And they don't look like a Samuel L. Jackson film.

    That by itself is ignorant but probably not completely unique in the United States. What's more unique is that most people who made a realization of that sort would be a bit ashamed about their previous views. They wouldn't go around telling their friends, "you know, until yesterday I had these ridiculously out-of-touch-with-reality stereotypes about black people, but then I discovered that my views were nuts". If it ever came up at all, they would try to bring it up in a more hedged, subtle fashion. But O'Reilly broadcasts it on national television.

      I think nothing has changed in that excuse for a brain that he has.
      He will probably attribute it to all his "fans" (in Harlem, HA!!) being in such awe, they wanted to impress him.
