    ...blogworld, or I would have come by on more diaries...I seem to miss all the big dustups.  I've been in heads down mode.

    Awful story btw.  I have an extremely recent one so I'm trying not to think about that stuff too much.

    I love the egg arty thingy on this one btw.

      Anything that can get me to write an essay, a letter, and a poem had to have me extremely upset.

      The fact that I spoke to the counselors directly drew complaints to my superiors.  Can you believe that?  At least I didn't get reprimanded for this incident.

      I had stuck this story into a virtual Mason jar, but the conversation Friday and Saturday caused me to unseal it.  That could have been a mistake.

        ...it usually is (worse).  Though lately I'm just...eh...not important.

        I have noted more and more that folks seem to cruise along fine and then casually conflate being a woman of transgender experience and being a man.  I am always taken aback at first, especially when it comes from friends and allies -- a retraction would be easy to obtain, but I never bother.  If the interaction were hostile, like the one you describe, I'd have lots to say!  But when it's people who think they're doing their best...it often seems no-win.

        But then, I'm not in a win-win space tonight :}

        Back to work...
