  •  Bottom line (4.00)
Schrader took on the race when no one else would.  She ran and won a contested primary. I know I saw the vote totals somewhere along the line this evening, it looked like she got about 60-65% of the Democratic primary vote.  It isn't the DCCC's choice to oust her, it isn't even really her own choice,  The Democratic voters of the PA 8th CD made a choice in a contested primary, and she won by a substantial margin.  Barring an Eagleton-like disclosure, there is no legitimate reason for there even to be any discussion of her removal from the race.

    •  That's the real point, isn't it, Larry? (4.00)
She won the primary.  It's called democracy.

The analogies to Jack Ryan in Illinois don;t hold water.  Ryan sunk himself by lying to state party officials about his divorce files.

Schrader has no such condition affecting her candidacy.

If the mucky-mucks want to dump her, they will have to overrule the primary voters in her district.

      And that would be horseshit.
