What "JesseLee" basically admits is that the DCCC didn't make any effort to recruit candidates in Bucks County, despite the fact it's a district that votes Democratic.

    What were they doing?

    I liked "No comment" better.

And by the way, $14K matches up very well against zero (since there's currently no Republican candidate). It even matches up very well against $625K, which is what the Republican raised in an entire cycle (and maybe even career) in Congress. Ginny got $14K in less than a day, and that's without incumbency. Good for her, and thank goodness we have a fine candidate despite the DCCC's incompetence.

Geez, at this rate I'm half expecting the DCCC to offer "No comment" on whether Ralph Regula deserves to be beaten by Democratic candidate Jeff Seemann in Canton, Ohio.

Support our troops. Let's not repeat Vietnam in every detail.

    •  My repsonse to Jesse Lee (none)

Thank you for responding. THis is bigger than Ginny Schrader. If she is pushed out, the blogospher will be so mad that you'll likely see decreased donations to the DNC, DCCC, DSCC and other candidates. The blogsphere has put up at lot of money for Kerry, the DNC, the DCCC, DSCC, and other candidates. We'd like to see that our donations are respected and not taken for granted.

      It's a two way street.

[Yeah I admit I was a bit nicer in my comments over there, than I was here down thread].

        that's not enough money.

maybe kos should put our money where his mouth is and make a million-dollar drive for Ginny.

Otherwise, it's still the DCCC that can bring $$$$$$ to bear in key races, given their ability to shift funds from strong members with warchests to promising candidates.

        •  Why... (none)
...didn't she have the funding to begin with?  If she was the primary winner, shouldnt' she have had at least some minor funding from the party?

If it's true that 14k was raised in a day, why the hell are they dismissing it?  Think about how much that could add up to over the course of a week or two, even if the daily average sinks just a little over that time?

because the dKos 8 didn't exactly break the bank.

and she didn't have any money before because there was no way she was going to win.
