    That sounds like you are just bashing "political operatives" the way some bash lawyers and others bash gays.

    Your post also reveals a misunderstanding of the importance of money to modern politics.  Of course the voters don't care if you have money.  However, money is how you get a message out to voters so if you don't have it, the voters are not going to learn about the relevance of your candidacy to things about which they care.

      I didn't miss the importance of money.  I said it is something that can be gotten.  If the DCCC and DNC really want the seat, they can help Schrader raise it.

      OPn the other point, a disingenuous comparison between Schrader's challenges and Torricelli's is a perfect example of the ethical...mmm..dubiousness of the political is the linking of taht perception to gay-bashing.  Mendacious and manipulative and precisely what I was talking about.
