    I don't know what a buy costs...lots, I would guess.

If some producers of ads would work pro bono and if some of these appeared on Youtube and Myspace and eveywhere progressives are found to make the case that the T must be included in the bill...to hear some people explain how they were treated...to hear Robyn say it was lucky she had tenure...

To put something visual out there where people can hear real people as we have heard Robyn here at DKos...would that work?

I don't use my credit card on line, but if someone builds an ad and has a Box # where I can send a real check, I would send $50.

    {{{{HUGS}}}} Robyn!!!

...for the Arkansas Progressive Network.  At the time my partner was a black woman.  We were a couple walking in a park.

The ad was part of the Hate Free Zones campaign in the 90s.  Music was by INXS:  Mediate.

...but if it is, I can't find it.

        •  I wish you could find it, it would be a start (7+ / 0-)

Here is my letter to my Democratic Rep. Dale Kildee who I know is a lovely, caring person.  If I get a response, I will post it.

Thank you for all you have done in years past.  You have been a true champion for human rights and I appreciate it very much.

Now, we need your help to pass an ENDA bill that will help all people in the GLBT community to be able to have jobs that they are eligible for and to not be discriminated against.

I have corresponded with a lady who is T and have heard that the T was dropped from the protection bill in the legislative hopper.

T people will NOT be saved later if they are left behind now.  She is so competent and she has worked for 15 years to try to get legislation passed so people can work.  It would hurt your heart to know her whole story, but she was saved only by already having tenure in the college community when she transitioned and now she works for others.

All of us no matter what our gender preferences must stand together.  I remember when in the 60's women were ill treated when applying for jobs.

Thank you for your attention. I respecfully ask for a response.

          Sincerely,

If I misspoke or you don't like the way, I said it, I apologize, but this is the truth in my heart.
