    Senator Kennedy:

Thank you for your life long commitment to public service, and thank you for posting here.

I believe that the Congress should come back at Bush with
CHILDREN under the age of 12.

Not just insurance, damnit. Full medical care. The Republicans are openly saying that they oppose the expansion of SCHIP because it diverts potential customers away from private insurers. Fine, I am willing to have a debate on these terms. I believe the country is ready, also.

Every child in America should get full and free medical care. Let the Republicans scream about it being "socialism."  Except for the 29% who are Bush dead-enders, the American people are tired of listening to such fear mongering. Let us have a national debate over whether it is more important to preserve the ideological integrity of the free market system, or to provide brain surgery or cancer treatment or heart transplants to kids who need them.

Bush’s veto and this issue puts him, and the conservative movement, in an extremely vulnerable position. We can force them forced to publicly admit that they thinks the purity of conservative "free market" economic doctrine is more important than the health of America’s children.

I think that is a debate the nation is ready for. And it is a debate well worth having. Please, Senator, up the ante, and pass full health care for America’s children.

A conservative is a scab for the oligarchy.
