because I truly believe all other issues are re-arranging the deck chairs on the titanic...
sadly, this includes Iraq. I'm reasonably certain, based on no evidence whatsoever, that someone who has committed his life to publicizing the true state of the Climate Crisis would really be all for letting an occupation rage...

As you point out, he has never indicated he would run.

He still might figure he can do more for the world as a private citizen battling only the Climate Crisis than he'd be able to do battling the special-interest-owned Congress AND the Climate Crisis AND the Medical Insurance Industry AND the Climate Crisis AND the the Military Industrial Complex AND the Climate Crisis...

Although I really, really think he'd have the most positive impact if he were president. There's alot to be said for the power of the distracting issues.

obstacles for him to get his climate agenda in the mainstream and in business as President.  It would be a wrestling-match-in-slimy-hell. As for your gut feeling that he may let the occupation rage, my gut feeling says he wouldn't. I admire the hell out him.  He has played it so smart that noone can logically criticize him whichever way he goes.

I'm reasonably certain, based on no evidence whatsoever, that someone who has committed his life to publicizing the true state of the Climate Crisis would really NOT be all for letting an occupation rage...

thanks for pointing that out....  i couldn't let that stand...  military action is environmentally disastrous on every level.  but i'm blogging incognito between ad hoc discussions at work...

If he does not run, it will be because he believes he would have a greater impact on climate crisis as a private citizen... imho.

and he will have a great impact.  he just has to decide how he would be able to effect greatest change the quickest.
